Supportive Rehab and Recovery for Alcohol & Drug Addiction
If you or someone you love is addicted to alcohol or drugs, there is no one best path to recovery. Pacific Solstice tailors all treatments to the individual. Our licensed, highly trained staff work together to help you break the cycle of addiction and take charge of your life. This process can be hard, but we believe it should be supportive, empowering and even fun. This approach makes us different from other treatment centers.
All substance abuse programs at Pacific Solstice are intensive outpatient programs (IOP). In general, IOP combines structure and flexibility to keep you close to your support system of family and friends. We’ve adapted IOP to suit a variety of needs, all with the goal of the best possible outcome for our patients. Studies show that IOP is as effective as inpatient programs.
We do not offer what many think of as therapy—that is, booking regular appointments to see a therapist or counselor like a doctor visit. We treat drug and alcohol addiction. However, these often create related issues (what we call “co-occurring”) that we also address as part of a complete treatment program. These include mental-health disorders like depression or stress, and the effects of addiction on family systems.

Drugs such as alcohol, opiates (heroin, oxycodone, fentanyl), or anti-anxiety medications like Xanax, create physical addictions that must be addressed prior to recovery. An addict can’t recover properly unless they’ve gotten past the pain of withdrawal.
Our partners can provide residential detox as the first step in your overall treatment. We’ll work with your insurance company and the partner facility to monitor your progress. Your rehab program begins after you’ve cleared the detox hurdle.
We’ll guide you to the best rehab option for your situation. In general, treatments vary by who they’re designed for, how structured they are, and whether they include inpatient care.
- Day Treatment Program
- Transitional Living Program
- Working Professionals Program
We will listen and learn about your unique situation and recommend the best options for treatment.
The Day Treatment Program suits people who are either coming off detox or residential programs, or need help with addiction for the first time. Participants live at home, but spend 6 hours per day, Monday–Friday, working on their recovery. Evenings usually include 12-step or faith-based community support groups. Family members often attend these meetings as well.
The Transitional Living Program is basically a hybrid inpatient/outpatient program. The program is the same as day treatment, but you live at a nearby residential facility all day Monday–Friday. Residential staff get to know you and your daily habits, which helps clinical staff make better decisions regarding your care. This program is ideal for motivated young adults age 18–28 who prefer or require the extra support and structure of a residential program.
Working Professionals Program
We call our traditional IOP the Working Professionals Program. Typical participants are 28+ with families, careers, mortgages, etc. However, the program can also suit younger participants moving out of day treatment. The commitment is just 3 hours per day, 3 days per week. It’s a great option for busy people.

In addition to the core programs above, we also offer programs for young adults, working professionals, family systems therapy, and innovative/alternative treatments. In all cases, our goal is to identify and deliver the right care in the right way for you or your loved one.
Quality Provider Network
Pacific Solstice works with partners to deliver exceptional treatment. If we do our job well, you may not even realize there’s a whole team behind the scenes. For example, we depend on our partners to provide data from blood or urine tests. All partners share our commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and personalized care.
We are certified by the California Department of Health Care Services as an Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Recovery Program.
